October 30

- Halloween is tomorrow! Students are allowed to dress up in an appropriate costume (no blood, gore, weapons or masks please). We will be doing some Halloween activities tomorrow.
- Today we went for a community walk out to the garden. We had to pretend there wasn't a city there, and we had to find some natural "Prairie Nouns". Some of the nouns we found were woodpecker, squirrel, flower, wood, trees, grass...
- We also had a great tour with Mr. MacDonald. He showed us where the heat pumps in the ceiling were! We found out where the school's two boilers were as well, but we were not allowed to go upstairs to see them. No students and teachers allowed, for safety! This tour was connected to our science curriculum studying hot and cold.
- In music, we had to colour by notes.
