Students have begun to take library books out of our school library. They are allowed two books, one for school and one to take home to share with you.
Students in grade two and up at Hawkwood School do not have regular library days. Instead, in our class, students will visit the library during our morning literacy center rotations. Your child will have one day out of our 6-day cycle where they have a block of time to exchange books and enjoy browsing the shelves.
Please have a look at the due date stamped in the back of your child’s library book and ensure the book is returned by this day. If it is not your child’s library day, we will keep the books in class (in our desks) until their library center rotation occurs.
