Adding Sails to our boats on Friday

If you have materials you can send to school on Friday, we will be adding sails to our boats to help them move with a fan. We have lots of materials here at school, so it's no problem if you are not able to send items.

- In science, we finished the hulls of our boats and ensured they could carry a load (5 rocks!).
- In gym, we played a soccer game.
- We talked about the book, "Stone Fox" today.

We Built our Boats today!

- We wrote about "Interesting Facts" and "About the Author" in our e-books.
- We started building our boats, but we are not finished. Today we built the hull and checked to see if it floated, and carried a load. We may need to keep building, or make modifications.
- Reminder: Please sign up for a teacher-conference time. Conferences are March 19th and 20th. Students should attend the conference with you, as they will have learning to share with you.
